The S.S. Washington arrived in port today with 300 Jewish refugees from Germany after 190 refugees had come yesterday on the Berengaria.

Part officials announced that more than 1,000 refugees have arrived since the first of the year, when the Department of Labor lifted restrictions on immigration for refugees from religious and political persecution.
