A tentative list of nominations for the Jewish bloc of six councillors on the forthcoming Jerusalem Municipal Council, to which elections are expected shortly, consists of A. Elmaleh (Sephardic Jews), I. Ben-Zvi (Labor Party), Joseph Hachmashvili, bank manager (Sephardis and Agudath Israel), Daniel Auster, lawyer (General Zionists), Samuel Eden (Agudath Israel), and one other, still to be decided upon. It is learned that the Labor Party may not agree to a united Jewish ticket unless it receives one more representative.
