Five Black Panthers were arrested this morning on suspicion that they planned to fire-bomb the Jewish Defense League office here. Four of the Panthers were later remanded in custody by a Jerusalem magistrate and the fifth is expected to be brought before the magistrate tomorrow. They are charged with conspiracy to commit a crime.
Police said two of the suspects were found in a car containing Molotov cocktails which was parked in the street where the JDL office is located and the other three were loitering nearby. JDL members exchanged blows with Panthers and members of leftist groups at a Jerusalem cafe several days ago.
