50 simultaneous police raids were carried out here to-day on the premises of the Jewish Journalists and writers’ Union, the Jewish Art Society, and the Yiddish daily “Najer Hajnt”, as well as in the homes of a number of prominent Jewish writers and Jewish political leaders, including the well-known Mizrachist, Mr. Levin-Epstein.
A search was made in all the raided houses for in criminating political documents, but it is stated that nothing compromising has been found.
