Five hundred European athletes, including a team of 60-80 Englishmen, will be flown to the Maccabiah in Israel in a “unique air pilgrimage of Jewish youth to Israel,” Lord Nathan, president of the European organizing committee of the Maccabiah, told a press conference today.
