The revocation of labor permits held by hundreds of Polish Jews in Germany will have to stand, the labor department today informed the Polish consulate which had intervened on behalf of the Jews. The decision, it is feared, may affect 50,000 Polish Jews living in Germany.
At the Polish Embassy, it was declared today that the matter of labor permits not only affects the status of all foreigners in Germany, but indicates that extension of discriminations against Polish Jews are being planned. The Embassy indicated that it is planning to intervene with the Reich Ministry of Labor.
