Fifty-one Austrian Jewish business men have been forcibly expelled across the German border into France near Sierck, L’Epoque reported today from Metz, after an unsuccessful attempt had been made to dump them into Luxemburg.
The French Government, the report said, has decided to deport the exiles back to Germany. It is understood that the Association of Austrian Refugees has intervened with the Government to cancel the deportation order and permit them to stay near the frontier.
