Twenty-one Jewish graduates of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point were awarded commissions as second lieutenants at the graduation exercises this week, the National Jewish Welfare Board reported today.
Twenty-three Jewish midshipmen graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis this week, while 12 Jews graduated from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Great Neck with ensign’s commissions.
