The 56,000 Jews in Bulgaria are still suffering privations, but are beginning to build a new life, it was reported last night by M. S. Kaminky, a well known cantor who toured the Balkan countries as a member of a brigade of Soviet artists. Addressing a meeting of the presidium of the Jewish Anti- Fascist Committee, Mr. Kaminky said that three Jewish newspapers are now being published in Sofia and cultural activities are being carried on by the “Jewish Peoples Home.”
