At least six Jewish students were wounded today during anti-Semitic attacks launched by Endek (National Democratic) students at Cracow and Lwow universities. Among those injured severely enough to require hospitalization were David Schechter, Roman Rosenberg, Samuel Leudestat, Herman Indik, Philip Damian and Vladislav Burger, all of Lwow University.

Endeks blocked entrances to Cracow University, distributing leaflets demanding a numerous nullus against Jews. Dr. Emil Sommerstein, Sejm deputy, intervened with the education authorities in Warsaw.

Several Jews were wounded and windows of Jewish shops were smashed during anti-Semitic excesses in the village of Michaliszki, near Wilno. Wilno police announced today the arrest of three persons who have pleaded guilty to murdering a Jewish driver, Michael Grynfeld, during street excesses several weeks ago.

The monthly market period in the town of Tarnowskie Gory, in Polish Upper Silesia, has been fixed for Yom Kippur, Jewish day of Atonement, in order to exclude Jewish traders.
