Some 600 Jews from the United States who are retired on Social Security benefits, are now living in Israel, it was reported today at the opening session of the annual midwinter conference of Retired Residents from America and Canada being held in Ashkelon.
The conference called on Jews in the United States and Canada who are retired on Social Security benefits, to consider settling in Israel. The sessions of the conference will be addressed by prominent Israeli leaders.
