Over $600,000 were pledged by the Jewish communities of Massachusetts to the United Jewish Campaign, it was reported by delegates from Massachusetts cities who assembled at the Elysium Club here.

David A. Brown, national chairman of the United Jewish Campaign, it was reported on the results of the fund, raising activities throughout the United States and on the work in Eastern Europe.

Louis E. Kirstein of Boston, State Chairman of Massachusetts, presideded at the opening session Abraham Spitz was chosen chairman of the conference and Coleman Silbert headed the resolution committee.

Rabbi Harry Levi in his address stressed the responsibility for the work already undertaken for the United Jewish Campaign.
