The American Committee Appeal for the Jews in Poland has transmitted approximately 305,000 zlotys (about $61,000) to Warsaw to date, it was announced today. This included 229,892 zlotys covered in a report by the Polish-Jewish distributing committee dated Jan.23; 5,000 zlotys which the appeal said it had sent before formation of the committee and 70,000 zlotys transmitted since Jan.25.
