Under the new anti-Jewish decree in Rumania 34 Jewish physicians have been dismissed by the Ministry of Public Health and 31 others by the Social Insurance Commission.

The decree bans from Government posts non-members of the totalitarian Party of the Nation, from which Rumania’s Jews have been officially barred.

Commenting on the growing demand for more severe anti-Jewish measures in Rumania, the Bucharest newspaper Currently advises against hatred in anti-Jewish legislation, pointing out that Rumania is depending on Germany to “solve the Jewish question” throughout Europe as soon as the war is over.
