A 1966-1967 budget for the Women’s International Zionist Organization of 20, 800, 000 pounds ($6, 930, 000) was submitted yesterday to the WIZO executive by Mrs. Miriam Benporat, treasurer. The figure compared with 17, 000, 000 pounds ($5, 666, 000) for the previous fiscal year.
She indicated WIZO expected to raise in Israel 10, 500, 000 pounds ($3, 500, 000) of the budget with another 38 percent to be collected by WIZO groups in other countries. The remaining eight percent is an expected deficit, she said.
