Seven immigrants illegally in Palestine, who were arrested during a demonstration at the offices of the Jewish Agency for Palestine last Sunday, were out on bail today pending trial.
The seven were among 150 who forced their way into the Jewish agency’s offices, demanding that action be taken to have their status legalized. Police called to disperse the demonstrators beat several of them.
Doar Hayom, Hebrew daily, reported that the seven arrested would be deported.
