Seven prominent Jews are included on the American Committee on Religious Rights and Minorities, who are sponsors of the report issued yesterday from its offices, warning the Soviet Government that by its religious persecution, which is termed in the report as “religious persecution on a scale unprecedented in modern times,” it is destroying whatever prospects it may have developed for recognition in the United States.
The Jews on the Committee are: Bernard S. Deutsch, Judge Abram E. Elkus, Otto H. Kahn, Judge Julian Mack, Bernard G. Richards, Carl Sherman, and Dr. Stephen S. Wise.
