It was learned today that an Arab delegation of 70, headed by the Grand Mufti, has gone to Amman to confer with Emir Abdullah, ruler of Transjordan, on whether or not to continue the Arab general strike which has paralyzed normal life in Palestine for more than three months.
Included in the delegation are the Arab mayors of various municipalities, editors, Sheikh Farouki of Islamia, specially released from “home confinement” and other prominent Arab leaders.
