A permanent organization embracing 75 religious Jewish schools and affecting more than 15,000 children in the metropolitan area was launched today under the name, Greater New York Association of United Synagogue Schools, at a meeting held at the Jewish Theological Seminary. Organized with the cooperation of the Jewish Education Committee, the Association will seek to better educational methods, prepare syllabi and foster the publication of textbooks and other school material.
