Some 750 professionals and skilled technicians have arrived in Israel from English-speaking countries since the organization of PATWA, the movement for immigration of professionals to Israel, Eliahu Dobkin, immigration department head of the Jewish Agency, announced here today.
Mr. Dobkin revealed that 340 of these skilled workers had come from England, 200 from the United States and the remainder from a number of other countries. He said that approximately 1,000 additional professionals have registered for migration to Israel as soon as arrangements can be made for their reception.
