In a report of the Brooklyn Hebrew Orphan Asylum, Miss E. Ferderber of the Child Placement department announced that more than 780 orphans have been placed in homes so far this year.
The children are carefully examined before being placed by the Asylum and the future foster parents must have certain specifications before they are allowed to adopt a child. About two-thirds of the children in the Home are placed in reliable homes.
