The Palestine office today announced that two transports, totalling 780 German Jews, left for Palestine this week to take up permanent residence there. Included in the number were 100 youths whose transportation is being provided by the Youth Aliyah, youth emigration project fostered by the American women’s Zionist organization Hadassah.
Another transport of about 150 is expected to leave for the Holy Land on Sept. 9. This will probably be the last group to go under the present immigration schedule of the Palestine Government.
