During the decade from 1920 to 1930, 345,477 Jewish immigrants arrived in the United States, according to figures given to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency by the Hebrew Sheltering and Immigrant Aid Society yesterday. About four-fifths of this number, or 275,000, arrived in this country during the first four years, before the 1924 immigration laws of the United States went into effect.
