Eighty per cent of German Americans are actively opposed to the pro-Nazi German-American Bund, a subcommittee of the Special House Committee to Investigate Un-American Activities was told yesterday by Victor F. Ridder, publisher of German-Language newspapers and former WPA administrator for New York. The remaining 20 per cent, Mr. Ridder said, are indifferent to the Bund, which he termed an “insignificant factor” in German-American life.
