More than 300 Jewish refugees from Europe arrived here yesterday on the Swedish ship “Drottaingtoia” which brought 800 passengers on her first post-war trip to this country. The majority of the Jewish passengers were women liberated by the Allied armies from various Nazi camps.

The Vaad Fatzala, an American Jewish orthodox relief group, today announced that its representatives in Switzerland have succeeded in bringing out of Poland 223 homeless Jewish children. Of them, 150 will be housed, fed and educated in the orthodox Jewish tradition in Czechoslovakia and 73 in France, the announcement said.
