Twenty-one of the 82 graduates of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America were ordained Conservative rabbis at the Seminary’s 71st commencement yesterday.
Two graduates received degrees as Doctors of Hebrew Literature, one received the degree of Doctor of Religious Education and two as Masters of Religious Education. Another 21 graduates received the degree of Master of Hebrew Literature, 26 received Bachelor’s degrees from the Seminary Colleges and 11 received special diplomas as teachers and cantors.
