A report on the free loan institutions maintained in Poland with the aid of funds from the Joint Distribution Committee, just received here, shows that 826 such institutions are now spread throughout Poland serving Jewish artisans, farmers and merchants. A total of 157,830 loans were made in a single year, totaling 14,584,523 zlotys (about $2,900,000).
