Ninety witnesses from seven countries will testify at the trial of three former SS officers accused of deporting thousands of Jews from the Tarnow ghetto in Poland to the Auschwitz and Belzec death camps between 1942 and 1944. It was reported here today. Defendants in the jury trial that will open in Bochum tomorrow are Karl Opperman n, 61, Georg Peter Libor, 55, and Gerhard Gaa, 63. The witnesses have been called from Israel, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Sweden, Belgium and Poland.
