Further confiscations of Jewish businesses in Slovakia were announced today by the Bratislava radio.
Including confiscations slated to take place up until Dec. 29, the broadcast stated, the total Jewish enterprises taken over by the Slovak state will number 9,851.
Other information reaching here today from Bratislava discloses that by the end of October, all Jewish real estate, with the exception of some farms and drug stores, valued at 1,250,000,000 kronen, approximately $425,000,000, had been confiscated. This real estate, the report adds, comprised one fourth of all Jewish-owned property of any kind in Slovakia.
