A 19-year-old Jerusalem woman was found guilty by a district court Wednesday of evading the draft by falsely declaring herself to be religiously observant. Ilano Avrashimi, a student at a teachers training college, was fined IL 3000 and given a two-month suspended sentence. The judge agreed not to send her to prison because she has promised to enlist.
