A baroque-inspired Torah mantle designed by two Toronto artists captured top honors and a prize of $10,000 in an international Judaica art competition sponsored by the Chicago-based Spertus Museum. Temma Gentles and Dorothy Ross collaborated on the winning entry, which Ross describes as “a representation of an Italian baroque bridal gown.”
