A Belgrade court has banned a book that contains references to “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion,” a notorious forgery that originated in Czarist Russia. The ban was ordered after protests by the Federation of Jewish Communities in Yugoslavia, the Institute of Jewish Affairs, the World Jewish Congress’ research branch, reported here.
The book, by the Macedonian writer Mihailo Popovski, is titled “The Secret World of the Freemasons.”
