A bipartisan slate of U.S. senators led by Jews from each party asked President Bush to urge Saudi Arabia to cancel a meeting on an Israel boycott. Saudi Arabia is hosting an Organization of the Islamic Conference meeting this week, and a Saudi official reportedly said one session would be dedicated to reinforcing the Israel boycott — though Saudi Arabia vowed last year, when it joined the World Trade Organization, not to boycott Israel.
