A British politician is criticizing President Bush for inviting Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to the White House. Gerald Kaufman, a senior member of Britain’s Labor Party, said Bush’s invitation amounts to a “presidential seal of approval” for Sharon’s government, which is responsible for “indiscriminate” killings of Palestinians, the Scotsman newspaper reported Sunday.
