A Canadian court dismissed an appeal by a Christian missionary group of an earlier ruling denying them the right to apply trademark-like status to their stylized menorah logo. Keith Landy, national president of the Canadian Jewish Congress, applauded this week’s court decision regarding Chosen People Ministries, saying it would help prevent “so-called Hebrew-Christian groups from misappropriating hallowed symbols of the Jewish people for their own exclusive use.”
