A Chair for the study of 1000 years of the history and achievements of the Jews of Poland is to be established at the University of Tel Aviv as a project of the Federation of Polish Jews in the United States, it was announced by Rabbi Alexander M. Schindler, president of the organization. The half-million dollar project will officially be launched at the annual conference of the Federation at the New York Hilton on Sunday, Dec. 10, which will be addressed by Yehuda Blum, Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations.
