A check for $50 was forwarded to Mrs. Elizabeth Potamkin of New York City, widow of the late Harry Alan Potamkin, as a posthumous prize for his contribution “Modicot” which was adjudged the best article to appear last year in the Young Israel Magazine, it was announced here by the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, publishers of the magazine.
