Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, which has 300,000 members and is best known for its hospitals in Israel, is pulling out of the American Zionist Movement. Hadassah leaders declined to elaborate on the reasons, saying only that the AZM “no longer serves the best interests of Hadassah’s Zionist goals or the future of American Zionism” and that Hadassah will continue to participate in the World Zionist Organization.
