A coalition of seven Syrian political parties criticized Israel for using a negotiating style that is not conducive to peace. The Central Leadership for the National Progressive Front, which is led by the ruling Baath Party, said the “Israeli government is fully responsible for the present status of the peace talks,” adding that “this situation cannot change” until Israel affirms its willingness to withdraw from all of the Golan Heights.
