A commission studying the Holocaust in Romania called on the country to establish a national Holocaust museum. In its report presented Thursday to Romanian President Ion Iliescu, the commission, with Elie Wiesel as chairman, called on the country to end its rehabilitation of Nazi-era war criminals.
