A concert dedicated to the memory of a Russian-Israeli composer killed by Palestinian terrorists was held in Yekaterinburg. Sunday’s Music Against Terror concert featured the Urals Academic Philharmonic Orchestra performing the music of Aharon Gurov, who emigrated from this eastern Russia city to Israel in 1991. Gurov was ambushed and killed by Palestinian terrorists on his way home from Jerusalem to the settlement of Nokdim in February 2002. The concert, which drew about 700 people, was organized by the Jewish Agency for Israel, Israeli legislator Yuri Stern, local Jewish groups and donors.
