A conference of Orthodox leaders who have recently formed a new organization under the name Achduth Israel, was opened here yesterday The conference will consider the issues of the forthcoming Kehillah elections.
“The Unity of Israel” organization is composed of Orthodox Jews who are in opposition to the policies of the Agudath Israel. Members of the Agudah and the Mizrachi, Orthodox Zionist organization, were not invited to this conference.
