Gary Davidson, the 37-year-old, 6- foot-6-inch tall spiritual leader of Temple Beth Shalom, said in a Los Angeles Times article about his selection, “A lot of women are hesitant about being with a rabbi because they fear that they’re dating a holy man, someone who’s super religious.”
