A contested photo caption may prevent a book on the Holocaust from being distributed in Germany. A Munich court issued a temporary injunction Tuesday preventing the sale of Daniel Jonah Goldhagen’s “The Catholic Church and the Holocaust,” because of a photo caption that identifies Munich’s Nazi-era cardinal, Michael Faulhaber, together with top Nazi official Hermann Goering in front of a Nazi honor guard. Church officials said the photo is not of Faulhaber.
