A convicted French Nazi collaborator is dismissing calls to show remorse for his role in deporting Jews to concentration camps during World War II. “How could I express sorrow and remorse for a crime I did not commit, and in which I played no part at all?” Maurice Papon wrote in a letter to a French newspaper.
