A criminal investigation was launched against Israel’s justice minister. The probe relates to whether Tzachi Hanegbi is guilty of fraud and breach of public trust when he served in a highway-safety lobby he established during the previous Knesset session, according to the Israeli daily Ha’aretz. Hanegbi was on vacation and was unavailable for comment.
