A Czech-German fund donated more than $30,000 for renovating Prague’s Pinkas Synagogue, which was badly damaged during floods in August. Some of the 80,000 names of Czech Holocaust victims inscribed on the walls of the synagogue suffered water damage in the flood, which also affected several other synagogues in the Czech capital.
