A delegation of Israeli officials is traveling to Turkey to look into purchasing water to avert what experts warn could be an unprecedented shortage. The trip was criticized by Israeli Environment Minister Dalia Itzik, who said Israel must not be dependent on foreign sources for water and instead should move ahead with desalination projects.
