A delegation of U.S. officials recently visited Israel to coordinate strategy ahead of a possible U.S. strike on Iraq. The Israeli daily Ha’aretz reported that the Bush administration opposes any Israeli involvement in the campaign against Iraq, and that this message was conveyed by the visiting officials, as well as to an Israeli delegation that was in Washington last week.
