A delegation representing several major U.S. airports is in Israel to learn about security practices. The four-day itinerary for the Airports Council International of North America group, which arrived Sunday, includes tours, briefings and meetings relating to security and aviation issues.
Members of the group will learn how the Israel Airports Authority and government handle security issues. They also will meet with several companies from the private sector that focus on aviation-related technology and equipment, as well as tour the Old City of Jerusalem and holy sites in the Galilee.
